Below the stock looking body and paint lies beautiful engineering including full chassis rails, monster brakes (for 15'' wheels) and an SR20DET running a top-mount Garrett Turbo, external gate - switchable between 15 & 22psi. Too much to mention here... But you get the idea!

• SR20DET Compressor SurgeCompressor surge is a phenomenon experienced when boost pressure inside the intake tract builds up and has no convenient relief method. This is usually caused from the throttle plate closing quickly. Changing load conditions (off throttle) resulting in varying amounts of exhaust gas can also simulate such conditions.In such a case, the pressure takes the only way out through the turbocharger compressor housing. The unique sound is caused by the pressure charge encountering the spinning compressor wheel on its escape from the engine.Compressor surge goes by many other names such as compressor stall, turbo dose or dosing, pigeon, turbo flutter/chatter and sometimes mistakenly wastegate chatter.The car was thoroughly warmed up before filming. The boost controller has been disabled allowing the car to run directly off wastegate pressure. The body panels have been removed due to a slowly progressing facelift. These generators feature 4 specially treated stainless steel plates to produce the maximum hydrogen in a small space.This generator is installed in a Nissan 240sx with a JDM sr20det turbo engine. This 2.0 liter engine puts out about 220hp and is not usually considered to be an "economy" engine. It is usually best known in the drifting world as being a world class power house.With hydrogen alone this car is getting 30mpg in the city and 41mpg on the highway!Prior to hydrogen the best mileage this vehicle got was about 24 city/ 28hwy.How about that? • Nissan 240sx RHD conversion / sr20det drift carThis car was converted by me at my shop, Vision Speed Factory, to a RHD Sil80. The car started off as a 1989 Nissan 240sx. I used a front clip from a type-x 180sx to get the blacktop sr20det, the interior, the firewall, and all the other rhd parts. I cut the firewall out of both and welded the RHD one into the 240sx, then swapped over all the parts. The car is gutted out, because it's main purpose is a drift car.

240sx Sleepy Eye DIY

240sx sleepy eye mod. it is in japanese and hasn't been translated but its pretty easy to understand if you just watch what he is doing.I obviously know about cutting the brown wire. but that doesn't allow you to have the lights on at the same time.
