• Tha Dogg Pound "Knick Knack Paddy Wack"Tha Dogg Pound, also known as D.P.G. (Dogg Pound Gangstaz), is a rap group made up of Kurupt and Daz Dillinger. They were signed to Death Row Records in their early careers and were key to the label's success. The group made their 1992 rap debut on Dr. Dre's The Chronic, on various songs. They also appeared on Snoop's classic Doggystyle, and the Death Row soundtracks Murder Was The Case and Above The Rim. Their solo, Dogg Food, was released in 1995. It was another addition to the controversy of rap music due to the sexual and violent lyrics and went on to sell three million albums.Kurupt and Daz went on to release solo albums starting in in 1998. They had both eventually left the crumbling Death Row Records in 1999 after Daz left due to long-lasting internal struggles on the label after friend and labelmate Tupac Shakur's murder in 1996. Kurupt started Antra Records, while Daz started D.P.G. Recordz. In 2002 a feud arose between the two when Kurupt decided to sign back with Death Row Records, upsetting everyone involved with the group. His awaited Death Row release Against Tha Grain had been postponed several times while Kurupt was on the label, later being released in August 2006, after he was off. In January 2005, Daz made another solo album release titled Tha Dogg Pound Gangsta LP. Tha Dogg Pound then got back together as a group and released Dillinger & Young Gotti II in November 2005. In 2006 Snoop Dogg decided to get involved and the three released their official reunion album Cali Iz Active.An extended family, referred to as D.P.G.C. (short for Dogg Pound Gangsta Crips), has over time been made up of Snoop Dogg, Daz Dillinger, Kurupt, Nate Dogg, and Soopafly. The members of the DPGC are commonly featured on each other's albums and projects.

• Knick KnackKnick Knack is a computer animated Pixar short film released in 1989. It was directed by John Lasseter.A snowman stuck in a snow globe (named Knick, Frosty's cousin, according to the audio commentary) wants to reach a pretty "Sunny Miami" knick knack at the other end of the bookshelf. He tries many unsuccessful but funny methods to get out of his globe,(including a blowtorch and high explosives) but when he finally breaks out he falls into a fish bowl. He is mad only momentarily, as he sees an attractive "Sunny Atlantis" mermaid knick knack and immediately tries to run to her. Suddenly, his globe falls on him and traps him inside once again.

I'm sure many of you wise guys never even knew The Knack had a second hit, but their debut album "Get The Knack" was at #1 for six weeks and was one of the fastest selling debut albums of all time, so you know it must have had some good songs on it, and it most certainly does. This song is from the album "Serious Fun" (1991) which is also worth checking out, as is "Round Trip" (1981), "Zoom" (1998), "Normal As The Next Guy" (2001) and their initial follow up to "Get The Knack", "But The Little Girls Understand" (1980).
