• my s14 ka24dethis is my 1995 nissan 240sx with the american motor (ka24de). it is built with a brian crower valvetrain (s3 272/272 cams, double drag springs, titanium retainers), cometic 1.3 head gasket, hotshot header, injen intake with k&n air filter, test pipe, and buddy club spec ii 3" exhaust.

• Ka24De RevupRevving the ka24de up. Notice the Stalling at the beginning. I still haven't fixed that problem.** Will get Rear view in a few miniutes :)

• KA24DE Oil Change~Run engine till warm. Switch off engine. Undo Oil filler cap~ Raise vehicle & place on jack stands~ Undo oil drain plug---collect oil. Securely replace oil drain plug but do not over torque~ Place rag/oil collector bucket under oil filter. Remove oil filter & replace w/ new one (always)---do not over tighen---makes it easier to remove (check filter is secure every 20 or so miles for @ least 60 miles)~ Place vehicle on horizonal surface---lower vehicle.~ Pour new oil w/ funnel through oil filler cap---I used about 4 Quartz (3.85 quartz; check level of oil using dip stick)~ Replace oil filler cap~ Run engine and listen to it purr.~ (check dipstick every 20 or so miles for @ least 60 miles)Note: To get acurate reading on oil level it may be wise to wait till oil has settled (~~2 hrs after engine has been switched off, depending on viscosity of the oil).Pls. ignore minor typos and alert of major errors or ommisions. 240sx sleepy eye mod. it is in japanese and hasn't been translated but its pretty easy to understand if you just watch what he is doing.I obviously know about cutting the brown wire. but that doesn't allow you to have the lights on at the same time.
