Justice vs. Simian - We Are Your FriendsFantastic video from the song that is sure to be the biggest club hit of the summer, 'We Are Your Friends'. French dance masters Justice (tipped as the new Daft Punk) did a stonking mash-up of Simian's classic 'Never Be Alone' and this awesome video compliments it well. A YouTube exclusive - enjoy!

Hard Justice: Episode 1A first episode of DigitalPh33r's new series, Hard Justice. In the city of Esoteria, there is a team that works in co-operation with the city government and the Esoteria Police Department named E.R.E.C.T. (Eradication of Repulsive Evil and Corruption Team), with Max Dangerfield and Edward Stryker currently the only two members. They answer to the chief of E.R.E.C.T., Howard Marshall, who answers directly to the governor of Esoteria. However, Howard's a complete drama-queen, Max is a cocky shoot-first ex-marine, and Edward is pretty dim. They need a third member, someone with a level head, and Bernard Brown, ex-Regen City cop and newcomer to Esoteria might just be the man to fill that spot.

Hard Justice: Episode 7Howard gets a rude awakening from an unsettling dream from governor Roman Drake who demands to know what Bernard is up to. Meanwhile, and while Max is absent tackling the situation at the Esoteria shopping center, Bernard and Eddie continue to investigate the off-limits case of the mutilated body.
Hard Justice: Episode 2After an unsuccessful interview for a dishwashing job, Bernard brown walks the streets of Esoteria and ends up taking down a carjacker, the very same one Edward and Max, the E.R.E.C.T. team of two, are in hot pursuit of.
Hard Justice: Episode 3Bernard Brown agrees to join E.R.E.C.T. and is sent on his first official homicide investigation alongside Edward Stryker while Max Dangerfield tackles the "more important" issue involving a neighbour playing his music too loud, but E.R.E.C.T. chief Howard Marshall eventually introduces to Bernard a little unforeseen problem with his new position.
Hard Justice: Episode 4It's a quiet day at the department when Bernard shows up for work, except for his driver's test he has scheduled for the afternoon, and Bernard gets suspicious when he finds out that E.R.E.C.T. has been ordered by the governor of Esoteria not to investigate the "suicide case" from the previous day.
Hard Justice: Episode 5While Bernard is taking his uncomfortable driving test under the instruction of a man he got into a car accident with, Howard informs the governor of Esoteria, Roman Drake, of their findings regarding the mutilated body from the "suicide" investigation, and after finding out that running the test was Bernard's idea, Roman decides to come by the E.R.E.C.T. office to meet Bernard personally.
Hard Justice: Episode 6Bernard shows up for work only to find Max, Eddie and Howard doing burnouts in the parking lot. He eventualy continues further investigating the murder case against Howard and Esoteria governor Roman Drake's direct orders.

Vigilante Justice - South AfricaMay 1999In this report South Africa's growing vigilante crisis is thrown into sharp relief when the rape of a black girl is publicly avengedSome of her attackers live in her street and she now fears for her life. Frustrated that the police will do little to help she approaches the local taxi firm to help her get revenge. "Will you be satisfied and stop crying once we've beaten them?" the firm ask her. At 4am the girl points out her township tormentors to willing vigilantes. They strip the culprits naked, strap them to a lamp post and lash them. The girl herself gives the first stroke. The legacy of apartheid leads South Africans to such violence, when even the police disregarded their own laws. The mob ruled when it black against white. This past has depersonalised and dehumanised. The police stand accused of apathy but often they are frustrated by clever criminals. But unless the police earn people's trust, vigilantism may become the norm.

Metallica - ...And Justice For All (Studio Version)Metallica - ...And Justice For All.Check out my profile for all the other songs:)"...And Justice for All" is the second track on Metallica's 1988 album ...And Justice for All.The lyrics depict a bleak and corrupt legal system in which "Lady Justice" is "raped", the "halls of justice" are "painted green", and "seeking no truth, winning is all."The opening "clean" sound represents a false truth that everything is going fine and that the system is free of any problems then the heavy sounds that appear represent the truth leaking out or building up; that in-fact the system is terribly corrupt and defiled. This continues on at the beginning of the song, until the heavy sound overpowers the "clean" sound, representing the truth of what is going on. Then, around half way through the song the "clean" sound comes back and plays alongside the heavy sound. This is meant to show the corrupt people trying to convince others that the system is actually fine and that everything is okay, but the heavy sound in the background is meant to show that the false truth and cold reality are competing together and that it can't work that way (one must win). Then the heavy sound prevails again and it continues like that for the rest of the song.It is Metallica's fourth longest song, clocking in at 9:44 minutes. Only the instrumental song "To Live Is to Die" at 9:48 , the song "The Outlaw Torn" at 9:52, and "Mercyful Fate" (a cover medley of songs by the band Mercyful Fate) at 11:11 are longer.Easily also one of the group's most complex songs, "...And Justice for All" runs the gamut from clean, melodic guitars to distorted thrash rhythms, and boasts many tempo and mood changes. Ironically, it is the slow, mid-section of the track that actually features predominant bass guitar, a stark contradiction to the rest of the album.Due to its complexity, the song was (at least until Sick of the Studio '07) only performed live by the band during their 1988 Damaged Justice world tour in support of the album. As lead guitarist Kirk Hammett would later say in SoWhat! magazine, "'Justice' was a bit much for me. I couldn't stand watching the front row start to yawn by the eight or ninth minute."During the Madly In Anger With The World and Escape from the Studio '06 tours, Metallica would often tease the fans by playing parts of the song, with James usually saying nobody wants to hear the song. It remained to be seen whether Metallica would ever play the song in its entirety, or play it on a medley, which was the case during the Wherever We May Roam/Nowhere Else To Roam Tours in 1991-1993. Then on June 28, 2007, Metallica played "...And Justice For All" for the first time since October 1989, nearly 18 years ago, in Lisbon, Portugal on the first show of the Sick of the Studio '07 Tour. It was also played on their headlining set at the new Wembley Stadium on July 8, on July 10 on Valle Hovin in Norway, at Stockholms Stadion on July 12 and at the Helsinki Olympic Stadium on July 15....AND JUSTICE FOR ALLHalls of justice painted greenMoney talkingPower wolves beset your doorHear them stalkingSoon you'll please their appetiteThey devourHammer of justice crushes youOverpowerThe ultimate in vanityExploiting their supremacyI can't believe the things you sayI can't believe, I can't believe the price you payNothing can save youJustice is lostJustice is rapedJustice is gonePulling your stringsJustice is doneSeeking no truthWinning is allFind it so grim, so true, so realApathy their stepping stoneSo unfeelingHidden deep animositySo deceivingThrough your eyes their light burnsHoping to findInquisition sinking youWith prying mindsThe ultimate in vanityExploiting their supremacyI can't believe the things you sayI can't believe, I can't believe the price you payNothing can save youJustice is lostJustice is rapedJustice is gonePulling your stringsJustice is doneSeeking no truthWinning is allFind it so grim, so true, so realLady Justice has been rapedTruth assassinRolls of red tape seal your lipsNow you're done inTheir money tips her scales againMake your dealJust what is truth, I cannot tellCannot feelThe ultimate in vanityExploiting their supremacyI can't believe the things you sayI can't believe, I can't believe the price we payNothing can save usJustice is lostJustice is rapedJustice is gonePulling your stringsJustice is doneSeeking no truthWinning is allFind it so grim, so true, so realSeeking no truthWinning is allFind it so grim, so true, so realWords and Music by James Hetfield, Lars Ulrich and Kirk HammettCopyright © 1988 Creeping Death Music (ASCAP)International Copyright Secured All Rights Reserved
