• Electrolux 330 Automatic vacuum cleanerThis is my near-mint condition Electrolux 330 Automatic from 1973. It was a short lived model and ran from 1973-75 and was replaced by the 345. It featured an Automatic floortool that retracted its brushes when cleaning carpets and released them automatically when vacuuming hardfloors. It would also switch itself off if it became blocked or the bag got too full and the orange light would come on. The knob at the front of the machine controlled the sensitivity of this. My 330 also has a very rare optional Turbinette floor tool, it was an early style of suction driven power head. In the video I use it with a later style hose from a 302 model as the original weaved hose tends to lose a lot of suction now because of its age.

• Electrolux 1205 Performance Test (Kitty Litter Cocktail)Torture test of the Lux 1205 with it's new hose and belt. I got curious as to how this sucker performed and was impressed enough to make a video. The power of this vacuum is really surprising! I've always considered Luxes to be pretty weak, but this one changes my opinion on that.It was after this video was filmed that I realized why the bag-full indicator didn't work. The problem was 2-fold: The release button needed oiling, and the rubber boot for the mechanism needed to be realigned. After those to things were taken care of, the vacuum wouldn't even run on the highest level with that full bag! Quite a difference! I'll have to do a flour-test to show the bag-full indicator in another video now that it's fixed.

• Electrolux 1205 With New Parts!This is just an update video to show the Lux 1205 with it's new electric hose and new belt in the power nozzle. Since the last video the motor in the power nozzle has also been rebuilt, so it runs MUCH stronger than it did before. As you'll see, Sophie is getting more and more used to the vacuums. • Electrolux 160 Slimline (my latest project)Hi people, thought i'd give you a little sneak preview of my latest restoration project. Its not quite finished yet but it's nearly there. Its a 1982 Electrolux 160 Slimline, when I got it, it looked like it had been used all it's life without a bag and was full of soot too. When I put a cable on it I found the motor had started to seize up. So I took it all apart, soaked , scrubbed then polished all the main body parts, then after a while I managed to find a replacement motor, luckily the Slimline models used exactly the same motor as the 500 Series uprights. All I need to do now is sort out a few imperfections and scratches on the body and clean/repair the tools. Hope you like it, tell me what you think so far!
