• "Theremin Hero" First ever attempt - The Portal song (Still Alive) on Theremin.If you dont know what a Theremin is, wikipedia it!A simple concept - hard to believe no-one has tried this until now.Take any singing game (e.g. Rock band) and "mod" the microphone - bury it into headphones which are playing only the Theremin output quite loud - but not loud enough to distort the sound.Choose your song and go for it!I chose The Portal song "Still Alive" by GLADoS. Its not often possible to bring three things I love together; Portal, Rock Band and Theremin. Today it was, and it was ALOT of fun.I'm playing a Moog Etherwave Standard - with a few mistakes. "Great to see them [the fans] out in full force."...Except when Mellon Arena Management doesn't know how to handle a Student Rush line and it's out of control and the security does nothing until it's too late and you get screwed out of tickets, and are told to go home even though you've been in line for 5 and a half hours and people who shoved and pushed their way to the front of the line got in. Luckily, we were close enough that they felt bad and sold tickets to the Wild game next Tuesday, but still, they turned away many people without tickets to another game...and these kids are the future season ticket holders; they can't treat these kids like this and expect them to come back.And then you go home, still dejected and see it would have been an incredible 3rd/OT/shootout game to be at.True story. Anyway, enough of my complaining (I'm still pretty upset about it, can you tell?) and on to the video:I can't believe this went 6 shooters deep with no goals. All Richards had to do was lift the puck and it's game over. Wow! And then Goligoski with the winner! Could Goligoski be the next Letang?#51 - Most Viewed (11/15) - Sports - Canada
